Term 3
We have been very busy in Paris class this term learning all about Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes. We have had lots of fun and worked really hard.
We hope you all have a lovely, well deserved half term and look forward to seeing you all back fit and healthy for Term 4.
The EYFS Team
We have had lots of fun playing with pasta inside and outside with reception children also. We love to play with all different materials looking at shape, texture, colour and noise.
Having fun with pasta

We have used scissors lots in our class practising our cutting skills. We have improved the more practising we do and we are getting good at following lines.
Cutting

We have been doing maths a lot in Paris class. We have been counting, adding, ordering and learning number bonds. We have worked really hard and we use numbers all the time inside and outside the classroom.

As our first full term draws to a close, we continue to be so proud of the youngest members of our school! The children in Paris class have settled in to school life so well and are making fabulous progress with their talking, listening and learning. Every day brings new wow moments and brilliant learning opportunities!
We wish the children and families of the children in Paris class a very Merry Christmas and a new year full of learning and fun!

Maths...
In Paris class maths is part of everything we do. From Daily counting and recognising numbers across our learning environment, counting, and shape recognition plays a bit part in our play and our learning.

English/Writing...
We take every opportunity to write, and build up the strength in our hands and wrists. We are mark making all the time with different tools and have been cutting with scissors to improve our hand eye coordination.
Our writing journey...

What a fun first term we have all had in Paris class!
We have been taking part in lots of fun activities including mask making, play dough letters and water and sand. The children are beginning to settle with support from their teachers and are making progress with the classroom routines. We are very proud of the youngest children in our school.
Have a wonderful half term break xxx
