• TfL travel guidance for young people

  Dear Parents and Carers

  As schools return, we will see changes to the service that Transport for London (TfL) will be providing for its passengers. They have informed Bexley council that they aim to provide dedicated bus services for children at the bus stops that are used by the most school children alongside their regular services.  These school buses will be for any school children and will operate at 100% capacity.

  Regular bus routes will still only be taking 40% of the usual number of passengers in line with other TfL services.

  On both services, passengers over 11 without an exemption will have to wear a face covering. 

  As this is a new way of operating, we are warned there may be some delays at bus stops while the new ways of working settle down.

  Bexley Council are working with TfL on a campaign to encourage children and young people to walk, scoot or cycle to school.

• NOT LONG NOW! Jubilee COVID-19 Parent Guide to Returning to School

  Dear Parents and Carers

  I hope you and your families have enjoyed the summer and are looking forward to returning to Jubilee very soon!

  As the beginning of the new term approaches, I am sure you will have questions regarding how life at Jubilee will look. I shall email you our bespoke Parent Guide on Wednesday 2nd September. As government guidance has changed regularly throughout the summer, I have deliberately delayed sending you this to ensure we are complying with the most up-to-date advice.

  Our Parent Guide is quite a lengthy document in which I shall share the main systems and procedures we have devised to ensure Jubilee is as COVID-secure as possible.

  As you know, I shared a lot of information with you during lockdown and especially throughout June and July. A lot of that information has not changed in terms of keeping everyone as safe as possible. However, with the whole school returning now, there is a lot more information to share and it is important you are reassured that we are doing everything possible to ensure your children's HAPPY and SAFE return to school.

  You were all contacted in July with a start date and time for your children and with an allocated entrance you must use at the start and end of each day. We shall re-issue that information next week for your convenience.
