Subject Intent Documents at Jubilee

We have replaced our subject policies with subject intent documents.

The purpose of our intent documents is to provide a progressive framework that sets out the aims for our curriculum.

The key features within each subject intent document are:

• the subject-specific knowledge and skills to be gained in each year group
• oracy skills (age-appropriate speaking and listening skills) due to the importance of communication
• subject-specific vocabulary grids as vocabulary is at the heart of knowledge acquisition
